Vangi Bhath powder


Vangi bhath powder is one of my favorite masala in the kitchen. It can be used as curry masala for various vegetables  like brinjal curry, cucumber curry, capsicum curry ,snake gourd curry. All these curries taste delicious with this magic powder. As the quantity of coconut is more, it enhances the taste of the recipe. Do try this with any of the above mentioned vegetables and give the feedback.

Ingridients:
  • Urad dal                                 -  2 Tsp
  •  Chana dal                              -  2 Tsp
  • Cinamon ,Clove & capers       - Just a count of  2 each
  • Dry coconut powder               - 1/ 2 cup
  • Kashmiri red chilies               - 5-6
  • Pepper corns                         - 2 tsp
Procedure:

Step 1:
Dry roast Urad dal until it changes color

Step 2: 
Dry roast chana dal until it turns aromatic and changes color.

Step 3:
Dry roast Cloves ,Cinnamon sicks & capers
 Step 4:
Dry roast dry coconut powder.

 Step 6:
Dry roast Kashmiri red chilies.
Step 7:
Dry roast pepper corns

Step 8:
Grind all the roasted ingredients together in a blender into a fine powder.
