Malabar Paratha/ layered paratha

Ingredients:

  • All purpose flour                  - 2 cups
  • Salt                                      - 1/2 tsp
  • Oil                                        - 1 tsp
  • Butter                                   - required to roast the paratha

Procedure:

Step 1:
Mix all purpose flour, oil and salt to make a soft dough and rest it for 30 mins.

 Step 2:
Take a small portion o the dough and roll it as thin as possible.

 Step 3:
Cut the lines on the rolled dough with the help of  a knife to get many layers.

 Step 4:
Get all the layers together.

 Step 5:
Roll it into a medium sized paratha.

 Step 6:
Roast the paratha with butter on both the sides.

 Crush the paratha between two palms to view the layers clearly.
