Palak paneer in 20 mins
Palak paneer
Ingredients:
- Onions - 2
- Tomatoes - 2
- Palak / Spinach leaves - 1 big bunch
- Cashews - 1/4 cup
- Paneer - 200gms/ approx 1/4rth of a paneer cube.
- Salt, turmeric, red chili powder, Roasted cumin & coriander powder - 1 tsp each
Procedure:
Step 1:
Blend raw tomatoes, onions & cashews into a fine paste.
Add it to a heated pan greased with a dash of oil.
Step 3:
once the gravy starts bubbling, add red chili powder, salt, roasted cumin & coriander powder.
Blend blanched Spinach leaves into a fine paste.
Step 5:
Add the spinach / palak paste to the boiling tomato and onion mixture.
Let it cook until it starts releasing oil from sides.
Add diced paneer to the gravy And cook it for another 2 mins.
Turn off the gas and add a twirl of honey to sense a bit of sweetness.
Garnish with fresh cream and serve hot.
