Palak paneer in 20 mins

Palak paneer

Ingredients:

  • Onions                                                                                                            - 2
  • Tomatoes                                                                                                       - 2
  • Palak / Spinach leaves                                                                                - 1 big bunch
  • Cashews                                                                                                        - 1/4 cup
  • Paneer                                                                                                           - 200gms/ approx                                                                                                                      1/4rth of a paneer cube.
  • Salt, turmeric, red chili powder, Roasted cumin & coriander powder      - 1 tsp each

Procedure:

Step 1:
Blend raw tomatoes, onions & cashews into a fine paste.


Step 2:
Add it to a heated pan greased with a dash of oil.


Step 3:
once the gravy starts bubbling, add red chili powder, salt, roasted cumin & coriander powder.


Step 4:
Blend blanched Spinach leaves into a fine paste.

Step 5:
Add the spinach / palak paste to the boiling tomato and onion mixture.


Step 6:
Let it cook until it starts releasing oil from sides.


Step 7:
Add diced paneer to the gravy And cook it for another 2 mins.


Step 8:
Turn off the gas and add a twirl of honey to sense a bit of sweetness.


Garnish with fresh cream and serve hot.
