Peach Panna Cotta
Hi all,
Pannacotta is an Italian sweet thickened and moulded dessert.This peach pannacotta is a very special dish for me because I added a slight twist of an enhancing flavor of fennel to this to make this dish more flavorful.I created this dish according my taste buds.Hope it matches your Taste buds too.Please do try this recipe and let me know how it turned out.
Ingredients:
- Peaches - 2
- Sugar - 4 Tsps
- Powdered fennel seeds - 1/2 tsp
- Agar - Agar - 1 tsps in powdered form & strands in string form.
Note:Agar - Agar is a vegetarian form of gelatin used to thicken the sweet extracted from plant(sea weed).
Procedure:
Step 1:
Add peeled and chopped peaches into a pan and add sugar to it.
Step 2:
close the lid and cook until the peach is completely smashed and forms smooth paste consistency. At this point add powdered fennel seeds to it and stir well.
Step 3:
Add 3 to 4 strands of agar - agar to the mixture and stir well until it is completely dissolved
(or)
boil melt agar - agar in a pot of water and add the dissolved agar - agar water to this peach mixture.
Step 4:
Transfer the mixture into a the bowl or the desired mould and allow it to cool down and set completely.It should set such that it shouldn't move when you tilt the mould.
De mould and plate this delicious dessert and activate your sweet tooth and taste buds.
