Ragi Malt & Ragi Chas

Ingredients:

For Chas:
  • Ragi                                             - 2 tsps
  • Curd                                            - 1/2 cup
  • Jaleera, dhaniya power, Salt    - 1 tsp each
  • Finely chopped ginger             - 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice                               - 1 tsp
For malt:
  • Ghee                                             - 2 tsps
  • Ragi                                               - 2 tsps
  • Jaggery                                         - 2 tsps
  • Mlik                                               - 1 cup
  • Roasted sooji / Semolina           - 1 tsp

Procedure:

Step 1:
Add thick curd to a mixing jar.

 Step 2:
Add Roasted coriander / dhaniya powder, ragi, salt, jaljeera powder to the mixer.


 Step 3:
Add finely chopped ginger pieces to the mixer.

 Step 4:
Add sufficient water , lemon juice and blend it until it turns frothy.



 For Malt:
Step 1:
Add ghee, Ragi to a heated pan and stir well until it is completely dissolved in the ghee.



Step 2:
Add jaggery to the pan and stir until it melts completely.


 Step 3:
Add roasted semolina/ sooji & milk to the pan and stir until there are no lumps.


Step 4:
Garnish Malt with sliced almonds and serve.Chas when served cold it tastes too good.
