veggie pizza 🍕
Veggie pizza
Ingredients:
- Instant dry yeast - 2 tsps
- Milk - 1/2 cup
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Baking powder - 1 tsp
- Maida / All purpose flour - 2 large cups
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Oil - 1 tsp
- Tomato ketchup -1/2 cup
- Chopped garlic - 1 tsp
- Italian seasoning - 1 tsp
- Red chili sauce - 2 Tsps
- Veggies( Broccoli,onions,bell peppers,basil leaves) - 1 cup
- Grated parmesan cheese - 1 cup
Procedure:
Step 1:
Mix instant dry yeast, warm milk and tsp sugar in a bowl and leave it for 15 to 20 mins to get activated.
Add all purpose flour in a bowl and make a well in between to add the wet ingredients.
Step 3:
Add salt and the activated yeast and baking powder and mix well into a soft dough.Knead the dough for 15 mins with the edge of the palm.
Step 4:
Cover the kneaded dough for 2 hrs or until it doubles its size.
Step 5:
Now lets prepare the pizza sauce, mix all the sauce ingredients together to apply on the base.
Step 6:
Roll the dough into the desired thickness (I prefer 1/2 inch thickness).
Step 7:
Poke the dough to unpuff while baking with a fork.
Step 8:
Apply the prepared sauce on the base evenly.
Step 9:
Add the desired veggies to top the pizza.
Add grated cheese on top of the topped veggies.
Step 11:
Bake the pizza for 1 and half hrs at 300F.(Every oven is different so keep checking frequently)
Enjoy hot pizza for lunch or dinner.
