Motichoor laddu

Ingredients:

  • Besan flour                     - 2 cups (which serves 25 small laddus)
  • Saffron                            - few strands
  • Sugar                               -   cups
  • Oil to deep fry                

Procedure:

Step 1:
Mix besan flour, saffron strands, and water to form a bajji batter consistency.
(As i don't prefer to use food color, i used few saffron strands for color and flavour)


Step 2:
Take a ladle which has holes and pour the batter little by little through the ladle and deep fry them.

 Step 3:
Remove the excess oil through a paper towel.


Step 4:
Prepare and sugar syrup of 1 string consistency and add the fried besan crisps into it and let it soak for 10 mins.

Step 5:
Now, grind the soaked besan crisps in a blender into a coarse mixture.(Grind just or few milli-seconds, on and off the mixer immediately).

Serve with sliced almond topping wrapped in an aluminium foil.
