Pumpkin pakoras

 Pumpkin pakora

Ingredients:

  • Grated pumpkin                              - 1/4rth of the whole
  • Ginger & green chili paste             - 2 tsps
  • Salt                                                    - as per the taste
  • Besan                                                - 1 cup(you can add more to adjust the consistency)
  • Rice flour                                          - 1/4 cup
  • Red chili powder                              - 1 tsp
  • Oil to deep fry                                 

Procedure:

Step 1:
Add the grated pumpkin into a bowl.


Step 2:
Add ginger & green chili paste to the grated pumpkin.


Step 3:
Add salt and mix well.

Step 4:
Add besan, rice flour, red chili powder(optional- as the pumkin is sweeter,  I preferred to add  red chili powder) and mix all these into a pakora batter without adding water as the pumpkin has enough moist to adjust the consistency.





Step 5:
Heat oil to fry and add this batter in the form of pakoras, fry until golden brown.


Serve the hot pakoras with ketchup or have it just like that!
