Ragi Dhokla

Ingredients:

  • Ragi flour / Finger millet flour           - 1 cup
  • Salt                                                          - As per the taste
  • Green chilies finely chopped              - 1 tsp
  • Coriander leaves                                   - 1/2 cup
  • Sugar                                                      - 1 Tsp
  • Curd                                                        - 1 cup
  • Curry leaves finely chopped                -1 tsp
  • Baking soda                                            - a pinch
For tempering:
  • Ghee                                                      - 2 tsps
  • Mustard seeds                                     - 1/4 tsps
  • Curry leaves                                         - 1 twig

Procedure:

Step 1:
Add beaten curd and finger millet flour into a bowl.


Step 2:
Add salt, baking soda, coriander / cilantro leaves, curry leaves, salt, sugar, lemon juice and mix everything together.


Step 3:
Transfer the batter into a bread mould and bake it at 350 degree Fahrenheit for 20 mins by checking it with a knife.Once the knife comes out clean, then its done just like a cake check.


Step 4:
Cut them into pieces and add tempering(heat the ghee and add mustard seeds, hing &curry leaves).
Garnish it with dry coconut powder and tempering.
