Celery Parmesan soup

Ingredients:

  • Butter / oil                                         - 1 tsp
  • Finely chopped garlic                        - 1 tsp
  • Finely chopped celery                       - 1 cup
  • Whole Milk                                          - 2 cups
  • Corn flour                                            - 1 tsp diluted in water
  • Salt, pepper                                         - as per the taste
  • Grated Parmesan cheese                   - 1 cup

Procedure:

Step 1:
Melt a dollop of butter in a pan and add finely chopped garlic.


Step 2:
Add chopped celery to the pan and allow it to cook until it becomes soft.


Step 3:
Add milk and allow it to boil.Once the milk comes to boil, add corn flour slurry to it and keep stirring until it thickens.


Step 4:
Add grated Parmesan cheese and stir until it turns creamy.


Step 5:
Add salt and pepper to it and turn off the stove.


Serve it hot in a bowl of bread or as it is by topping it with grated cheese.
