Idli pakoras
Ingredients: (serves 2)
- Idlis - 5 idlis
- All purpose flour - 1 cup
- Corn flour - 1/4 cup
- Red chili powder - 1 tsp
- Salt -as per the taste
- Green chillies - 2
- Curry leaves - 1 twig
- Onions - 1
- Chat masala - 1 tsp
Procedure:
Step 1:
Mix all purpose flour, corn flour, salt, red chili powder into a smooth and thick batter.
Step 2:
Add chopped idli pieces to it and mix well. Marinate it for 15 - 20 mins.
Step 3:
Heat the oil and deep fry the marinated idli pieces until it turns golden brown.
Garnish it with finely chopped onions, fried green chilies, fried curry leaves, chat masala powder and serve hot.
