Mixed vegetable kurma
Ingredients:( serves 2)
- Butter - 1 cube
- Tomato - 1
- Mixed veggies - 1 cup
- Salt - as per the taste
For masala:
- Cashews
- Green cardamom - 2 to 3 pods
- Pepper corns - 1 tsp
- Cinammon - 1 stick
- Jeera seeds - 1 tsp
- Coriander seeds - 1 tsp
- Fresh grated coconut - 1 cup
- Green chilies - 4 to 5
- Roasted chana dal / dalia - 4 cup
Procedure:
Step 1:
Blend all the masala ingredients into a fine paste by adding sufficient water.
Step 2:
Add butter or oil in a pan, once the butter melts add chopped and de- seeded tomatoes.
Step 3:
Add chopped mix veggies into the pan( I added green peas, potatoes, cabbage, carrot, turnip).
Step 4:
Add the blended paste to the veggies once they are well cooked and add salt.
Serve it with rotis or rice.
